This covers subscriptions, gifted subs, and tips (KICKs) — the three revenue streams where Kick publishes an exact split (95/5 on all three). It assumes every subscriber is on the standard $5/month plan. You need subscriptions enabled on your channel before any of this applies to you.
Not included: the Partner Program (KCIP) — on purpose
Kick's Partner Program (also called KCIP, the Creator Incentive Program) pays eligible streamers per stream, scaling with your average concurrent viewers — Kick says it has paid out over $400,000,000.00 to creators since 2024. But Kick has never published a rate card or an hourly figure for it, anywhere in its help center or on streamer.kick.com — so we can't calculate a dollar number for it without guessing, and we'd rather leave it out than make one up. Check your eligibility on the Partner Program Tracker.
How Kick creators actually earn money
Kick keeps its published economics simple: a 95/5 split, in the streamer's favor, across its main revenue streams. Here is every way Kick creators get paid, and what we could — and couldn't — verify about each one.
Subscriptions — $5/month flat, you keep $4.75
One price, one tier, everywhere Kick operates. No Tier 1/2/3 ladder like Twitch, no regional pricing. Streamers need subscriptions enabled first (5 cumulative hours streamed, per Kick's help center).
Gifted subs — same $5, same split, no bulk discount
A viewer pays for someone else's subscription. You net the same $4.75 per gift as a regular sub — Kick's help center is explicit there's no bulk pricing. Capped at 500 gifted subs per transaction; gifted subs don't auto-renew.
Tips (KICKs) — Kick's own tipping currency, 95/5 split
KICKs are bought and sent inside Kick's own product — not a third-party tipping tool. Viewers buy KICKs and send Gifts with them; you receive 95% of the value, same as subscriptions.
Partner Program / KCIP — pays per stream, rate not published
Kick's Partner Program (Kick also calls it KCIP, the Creator Incentive Program — both names lead to the same help-center article) pays eligible streamers for each stream, scaling with average concurrent viewers. Kick says the program has paid out "exceeding $400 million" to creators since it launched in 2024. What Kick does not publish anywhere: a rate card, an hourly figure, or tier names. We left the dollar amount out of the calculator above rather than estimate one — see the Bronze/Silver/Gold answer below for why that matters.
Ads — fund the platform, don't pay you directly
Kick runs platform-wide ad breaks on streams; subscribers to a channel don't see ads on it. Kick's help center is direct: ads "do not currently generate direct additional payment" — Partner Program creators are compensated through that program instead, not a separate ad-share line item.
Bounties — task-based, not a monthly income stream
Bounties are one-off challenges (posted at bounties.kick.com) that pay out in gifted subs or Kick Shop gift cards, not cash, with rewards set per-campaign. Too variable to model as a recurring number, so it's not in the calculator.
Is Bronze/Silver/Gold a real Kick tier system?
We looked into this directly, because it's the first thing people ask after seeing it elsewhere. No — those labels don't appear anywhere in Kick's own help center or on streamer.kick.com. Kick's subscriptions are a flat, one-tier $5/month. The Partner Program (KCIP) genuinely does pay per stream and genuinely does scale with your viewership — but Kick has never published a rate card for it. Bronze/Silver/Gold, and the $4/$8/$16-per-hour numbers attached to them, are a competitor site's own invented bands for estimating that unpublished number — by their own words, on their own methodology page, "Kick does not publish an official rate card, so we interpolate from public reporting." Their own two pages don't even agree with each other (one lists $4/$8/$16/hr, another lists $16 scaling to $100+/hr for the same program). We'd rather tell you honestly that the number isn't public than hand you someone else's guess dressed up as a platform rule.
Before any of this applies to you
You need subscriptions enabled on your channel first. Kick's bar for that is a lower, separate requirement from the full Partner Program — check both on our Kick Partner Program Tracker.
Where these numbers come from
Every figure on this page was checked directly against Kick's own sites on 2026-09-14 — both are client-rendered, so we rendered them fully rather than trusting a plain fetch. Nothing here is copied from a competitor or a third-party estimate.
- help.kick.com — "Understanding KICK's revenue split" — 95/5 split, $5 sub price, $4.75 net, KICKs revenue at 95%.
- help.kick.com — "How KICK subscriptions work for Viewers" — flat $5/month, one tier, gifted-sub basics.
- help.kick.com — "How to gift a subscription on KICK" — no bulk discount, 500-gift cap, same 95/5 split.
- help.kick.com — "Guide to KICKs and Gifts" — what KICKs are, how gifting works.
- help.kick.com — "Advertising on KICK For Creators" — ads don't pay creators directly.
- help.kick.com — "How to join the KICK partner program" (same article resolves as "KCIP") — eligibility metrics, "revenue per stream," no rate card.
- help.kick.com — "How to become a KICK Partner and how KICK streaming works" — 5-hour bar to enable subscriptions.
- help.kick.com — "KICK payout schedule, thresholds, and methods" — Stripe payouts, weekly/monthly cadence, no published $ threshold.
- help.kick.com — "International payments and currency handling on KICK" — flat $5 globally, no regional pricing.
- streamer.kick.com/partner — "earn every stream," "exceeding $400 million" paid since 2024, no rate card, no Bronze/Silver/Gold.
All checked 2026-09-14. If Kick changes any of these figures, this page needs a re-check — we don't carry them forward from memory.
FAQ
Kick's own help center, "Understanding KICK's revenue split": "KICK uses a 95/5 split across our main revenue streams. You keep 95% of all revenue you receive, the other 5% is taken as a processing fee." It explicitly applies to subscriptions and to KICKs (tips). Checked live on help.kick.com on 2026-09-14.
No. We checked this directly because a competitor's calculator shows Bronze/Silver/Gold "pay tiers." Those labels don't exist anywhere in Kick's own help center or on streamer.kick.com — Kick's subscription price is flat, $5/month, one tier. The Bronze/Silver/Gold bands belong to that other site's own unofficial estimate of Kick's separate, unpublished Partner Program payout — by their own admission, "Kick does not publish an official rate card," and their own two pages don't even agree with each other on the numbers. We didn't reproduce them.
The same as a regular sub. Per help.kick.com: "You pay the subscription cost (flat $5 per sub) ... The Streamer receives the revenue under the standard 95/5 split." There's no bulk discount — 100 gifted subs costs the gifter 100 × $5 and nets you 100 × $4.75. The cap is 500 gifted subs per transaction, and gifted subs don't auto-renew.
KICKs are Kick's own first-party tipping/gift currency — bought and sent inside Kick, not a third-party tool. Per help.kick.com: "When a Viewer sends KICKs on your channel, you receive 95% of the value" — the same split as subscriptions.
Kick's Partner Program — also called KCIP, the Creator Incentive Program; both names lead to the same help-center article — pays eligible streamers per stream, scaling with average concurrent viewers. streamer.kick.com/partner says it has paid out "exceeding $400 million" to creators since 2024. But Kick has never published a rate card, an hourly figure, or tier names for it anywhere in its own materials, so we left it out of the dollar totals rather than guess. Check your eligibility for it on our Partner Program Tracker.
Not directly. Kick's help center is explicit: "Ads themselves do not currently generate direct additional payment. KPP creators are compensated through the KICK Partner Program." Ads fund the platform (and indirectly the Partner Program pool), but there's no per-ad or ad-share payment to an individual creator to calculate.
Through Stripe. Verified streamers can choose weekly or monthly payouts; non-verified streamers get monthly only. Kick's help center does not publish a minimum-dollar payout threshold — some countries have their own regulatory minimums that Kick says are "outside of our control." US streamers can get instant debit payouts (capped at $9,000 per payout) or ACH in 2–3 business days; international payouts typically take 3–7 business days.
Yes. You need subscriptions enabled on your channel first — Kick's help center lists a single, separate, lower bar for that: 5 cumulative hours streamed. The bigger Partner Program / KCIP bar (250+ followers, 75 avg CCV, 25 active subs, 250 unique chatters, 30 hours streamed, 3 VODs, all trailing 30 days) is what unlocks per-stream revenue. Our Partner Program Tracker covers both.
Kick's own help center confirms flat $5 pricing globally with no regional pricing: "KICK uses flat $5 subscriptions globally, in all supported countries. There is no regional pricing." We don't apply currency conversion or geo-detection anywhere on this site — the numbers here are exactly what Kick publishes.
