Kick Username Checker
See instantly whether a Kick channel name is taken or free — checked live against Kick, not a guess.
How this checker works
Kick doesn't publish an official, documented API for checking usernames, but its channel pages are backed by a public endpoint that returns real channel data or a clean "not found" for any given slug. We call that endpoint directly, server-side, every time you check a name — there's no cached list and no database of "taken" names sitting behind this tool.
That also means results can occasionally come back as "unknown" instead of a definite taken/available answer — usually because Kick briefly rate-limited the request or served an anti-bot challenge page. Rather than falling back to a coin-flip, the tool shows that uncertainty plainly and asks you to try again in a moment.
Kick's username rules
- •2–25 characters long.
- •Letters, numbers, underscores (
_) and hyphens (-) only — no spaces or other symbols. - •Your channel URL is exactly
kick.com/<username>, so whatever you pick is also your public link.
Can't find a name you like?
If the names you're trying keep coming back taken, our Kick Name Generator builds fresh ideas around a keyword and lets you check them right there, one click at a time.
FAQ
We query Kick's own channel API for the exact username you enter. If Kick returns a real channel, it's taken. If Kick returns "not found," it's free. We don't guess or cache stale results.
Kick's public API isn't an official, documented product — it can rate-limit us or return a Cloudflare challenge page instead of data. When that happens we show an honest "unknown" result rather than risk telling you a taken name is free, or vice versa.
No. This tool only checks Kick's current state — it doesn't reserve or register anything. If a name looks available, sign up on Kick soon, since anyone else could take it in the meantime.
Kick channel names are 2–25 characters: letters, numbers, underscores and hyphens only. Anything outside that range or with other characters isn't a real Kick slug, so we flag it as invalid before even checking.
Yes — this only reads Kick's public channel directory, the same information anyone sees by visiting kick.com/<name>. No login or account access is involved on either end.
